This software upgrades a BLS of the BLS-Series or a SLS of the SLS-Series to process additional meteorological sensor data in real-time.

Input data is accepted via one of the two configurable serial ports (RS-232) of the Scintillometer Processing Unit. In a typical application this port may be connected to the serial ouput port of an external datalogger, which may then serve multiple meteorological sensors. Sensor data is stored together with regular Scintillometer data. Depending on the connected sensor types the data is automatically introduced into real-time calculations of heat flux for convective, stable and unstable atmospheric conditions and to derive evapotranspiration.
